Refuge Retreat | 25-31 May

Refuge Retreat
Develop Inner Protection
· 25 - 31 May
Mahasiddha Kadampa Meditation Centre · Surry Hills

buddha shakyamuniThe foundation of the Buddhist way of life is to go for refuge to the Three Jewels: Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. Buddha guides us along the spiritual path to enlightenment. Dharma, our experience of Buddha’s teachings, protects us from problems and suffering. Sangha, our teachers and spiritual friends, inspire us and help us along the path to inner peace.

A retreat is a time when we reduce our normal worldly activities and concentrate for a period of time on developing spiritual qualities and peaceful minds. Deepen your refuge in the Three Jewels, thereby developing the inner protection of spiritual experience, and enhance your progress along the path to supreme happiness.

Retreat Sessions
Each session consists of chanted prayers sung in English and a silent period for reading, contemplation and meditation.

You are welcome to drop in for any or all of the retreat sessions and there is no charge.
