These drop-in meditation classes explore different aspects of meditation and Buddhism each week. The classes are suitable for everyone and consist of guided meditations, teaching and discussion. Each class is self-contained so you can come any week. There is no need to book or bring anything, and everyone is welcome.

Learn how to overcome anxiety and stress. Discover simple meditations that will help you keep a calm and flexible mind throughout the day.

modern buddhism class

Ever wondered what Buddhists believe and why? Would you like to deepen your understanding and practical experience of Buddha’s teachings? In his book, Modern Buddhism, Geshe Kelsang explains the core meditations and teachings of Buddhism in a way that is both easy to understand and perfectly suited to the people of the modern world. In these weekly drop-in classes, Kelsang Lhachog will guide us through Modern Buddhism, placing particular emphasis on how to integrate these teachings into our daily lives. By gaining personal experience of the Buddhist path, we can come to live a more peaceful, loving and meaningful life.

Escape the stress and busyness of life to discover the peace of meditation. Be guided through simple meditations that relax the mind and body, leading to a deep experience of inner peace and contentment. Drop-in any week.
Taught by Buddhist nun Kelsang Monlam.

Take time out and set yourself up for a nice weekend with these brief lunchtime meditations. Classes include a short talk and simple guided meditation.

Happiness depends upon inner peace. Develop inner peace, patience, and let go of painful attitudes by learning meditations that improve your relationships. This class is perfectly suited for those developing an interest in Buddhism as well as those who wish to lead their life with more meaning, wisdom and compassion.
